Joint District No. 28J of the Counties of Adams and Arapahoe (Aurora Public Schools) is pre-qualifying Asbestos Abatement Contractors.
Upcoming projects include but are not limited to:
● Projects related to the 2024 Bond:
o Aurora Central High School CTE Renovation and Waste Line Replacement
o Dalton Elementary School HVAC & Mechanical Repairs and Building Renewal
o ESC 1 HVAC Retrofit
o Rangeview High School Renovation and Renewal
o Miscellaneous Capital and Repair Projects Related to the 2024 Mill Levy Override
o Miscellaneous small renovation/remodel projects
Contractors interested in being considered for District work are requested to submit a complete and notarized AIA Document A305 (including Financials), as well as letter of interest in either hard copy or electronic format. By 2:00 pm, Monday, October 7, 2024. A letter of interest and a supplemental statement detailing the applicants experience with school projects, similar abatement projects, and compliance history with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment shall be appended to the AIA Document A305. Brochures and similar material may accompany the submission; however, only applicants submitting a complete AIA Document A305 with financial statement will be considered.
A selection committee will review the submittals and select contractors to be included in the pre-qualification Contractor list. This pre-qualification should not be misconstrued as a formal bid of any kind. Contractors selected via this pre-qualification are not guaranteed to submit on a single project but are on a pre-qualified list to be selected to submit on projects on an as-needed basis. There is absolutely no commitment to any Contractor to submit on a project or enter into a formal contract once on the pre-qualified contractor list.
