Notice to Emergency Mitigation/Restoration Contractors

Joint District No. 28J of the Counties of Adams and Arapahoe (Aurora Public Schools) is pre-qualifying Emergency Mitigation/Restoration Contractors. Contractors would be required to respond to emergency calls related to mitigation of property damage resulting from:

  • Water and Flood Damage
  • Fire & Smoke Damage
  • Miscellaneous property damage incident

Contractors interested in being considered for District work are requested to submit a complete statement of qualification (including Financials), as well as letter of interest in either hard copy or electronic format.

By 2:00 pm, Monday, October 7, 2024. A letter of interest and a supplemental statement detailing the applicants experience with school projects, emergency response to fire, flood or other emergency related projects. Brochures and similar material may accompany the submission. A selection committee will review the submittals and select contractors to be included in the pre-qualification Contractor list. This pre-qualification should not be misconstrued as a formal bid of any kind. Contractors selected via this pre-qualification are not guaranteed to submit on a single project but are on a pre-qualified list too be selected to submit on projects on an as-needed basis. There is absolutely no commitment to any Contractor to submit on a project or enter into a formal contract once on the pre-qualified contractor list.
